Luke and Gabby

Here is a small selection of our favourite images from Luke and Gabbys wedding day.  The splendour of Salisbury Cathedral made the perfect backdrop for capturing some special memories with them after their intimate ceremony at the registery office.

Congratulations……Bob & Dawn

Happy New Year

Well as 2015 draws to a close and 2016 begins, we have had the time to reflect on an excellent year. Thank you, to our many customers from weddings, portraits; pets, people and events we have enjoyed them all!

We are looking forward to 2016 and all the fabulous pictures and memories that will come with it.

We have a number of events in the pipeline. Starting on the 23rd January with a stall at the Salisbury Registry Office open day. This really is a lovely venue.

We had the privilege of photographing Luke & Gabby here just before Christmas. So why not pop the date in your diary and call in from 10.00 am- we will have some show only offers.

The weather was typical of December – overcast with some rain. So we had to take advantage of the venue for some lovely group shots. And applied a little imagination and flexibility seizing an opportunity the day after for some fabulous Sun-filled shots in the grounds of Salisbury Cathedral.

We learn something from every wedding we do- and the happiness of the day after images, are well worth remembering- as a plan B if the weather is really bad!

We also have a few trips to France arranged,  where I can indulge my passion for wildlife and landscapes. Bring on the sunshine!!

So if your planning an event, for 2016 or 2017 why not contact us for  more information and we will happily provide you with a clear and concise quotation.

Until then,  hopefully you will like the following pictures. If so please click to follow the blog, follow us on facebook and see what we get up to in 2016!

Have a fabulous New Year everyone.

Malcolm and Denise

wedding

This summer we had the privilege to photograph the most beautiful wedding at The Rectory Hotel in the Cotswolds. This luxury, boutique country house hotel was the perfect backdrop to capture Malcolm and Denises special day.

wedding flowers

All wedding flowers are beautiful, but these were outstanding and most definitely the best we have photographed yet. The Fresh flower Company – near Bath. The subtle colour scheme complimented the brides accessories perfectly. Hand crafted by Victoria Fergusson Accessories.

We find that the best photographs are taken when people are relaxed and having fun. That is when you truly capture their personality and those special memories.

Spring 2014 just keeps on giving!

I took these images in my garden on a bright sunny April day. The images were taken on a Canon EOS 1d Mk11, using a Sigma 105 macro lens. The images were highlighted by a burst of fill in flash from Canon 550 Ex and a Nissin battery pack. Images were loaded via Aperture with minimal adjustments and sharpening.

I hope you enjoy them. If you do please feel free to like and follow.

Thankyou.

Spring along The River Wylye- Hanging langford

This mornings walk long the River Wylye produced two of my favourite local birds- I like the Moorhen for its brilliant bright red and yellow beak, but equally I have a soft spot for the elusive Wren. Both seen here on the river bank searching for food, and enjoying the early spring sunshine.
