A few shots from our Easter trip to The Garlic  Farm on the Isle of Wight. A great place to visit for all foodies, garlic lovers and the curious. They have more than twenty Mayo’s, Mustards, Relishes, Vampire Pickles, Butters and Pestos – all made in the Garlic Farm Kitchen. Even Garlic Beer, Garlic Ice-cream and Chilli and Garlic Popcorn. And as for their garlic bread, freshly made in the Garlic Farm Café, it really is the best you will ever taste. Lots to do, lots to see and lots to taste and sample.

Have a wonderful Easter,

Spring 2014 just keeps on giving!

I took these images in my garden on a bright sunny April day. The images were taken on a Canon EOS 1d Mk11, using a Sigma 105 macro lens. The images were highlighted by a burst of fill in flash from Canon 550 Ex and a Nissin battery pack. Images were loaded via Aperture with minimal adjustments and sharpening.

I hope you enjoy them. If you do please feel free to like and follow.

Thankyou.

Spring along The River Wylye- Hanging langford

This mornings walk long the River Wylye produced two of my favourite local birds- I like the Moorhen for its brilliant bright red and yellow beak, but equally I have a soft spot for the elusive Wren. Both seen here on the river bank searching for food, and enjoying the early spring sunshine.

Longford Castle Gardens

Situated near Salisbury in Wiltshire, with the River Avon running through its grounds, Longford Castle is one of the most magnificent of all English country houses and has been  home to the Earls of Radnor for generations.
